Banking Question

someone owes me money and i really do not want to face them to get it (it is a girl i no longer see or like) well she has been calling me this week to see where we can meet up for her to give me my money back...i know she just wants to meet to start trouble for me and my new found happiness,so i am thinking of just giving her my checking account # and telling her to fill out a generic deposit slip and put it in my bank...

is this advisable??we all write checks to people and your account # is plainly in view on the front of your checks....and when i deposit a check from someone else i write my account # under my signature and they receive that check back when they get their statement.

i just don't want her to have no way to scam me or anything...if you know a good answer i need it by friday

should be ok. like you say, if you've ever given her a check she can easily get your account number. call the bank first and let them know whats happening so they dont give her any private info.

maybe a better solution would just be to have her mail a check to you? maybe there's a reason that wouldnt work....how about sending you a western union and you cover the fee?
